Tyson Kidd Injury Update
Tyson Kidd, or TJ as he can be known, has being on the WWE Injury List since last Summer when he sadly broke his neck in a dark match with Samoa Joe on a Live Event. Suffering a devastating neck injury which required 4 screws and 16 staples, this left him with a bleak prognosis and only a 5% chance of recovery. However, recently his wife Natalya Neidhart has taken to her Instagram account which has led to further speculation that TJ may be done as an active performer;
So much of what I love about wrestling was that I got to share it all with TJ… EVERY SINGLE DREAM. I tried to never take it for granted… Because I knew the whole time how lucky we were to be able to travel the world and just be together. It was the best! It’s tough without him helping me the way that he had before. I was truly spoiled. AND I’ll never forget those days…they’ll always remind me of the amazing times we had together on the road and in wrestling. Not everyone can say they’ve gotten the chance to live their wildest dreams, especially with the most important person in the world to them. (This was an old picture of us from a few years ago in a hotel somewhere in America😄)
Since the injury, his recovery hasn’t shown any positive signs unfortunately. This is definitely a blow for TJ, who was beginning to be on a role at this point in his career with his tag team with Cesaro. Should this ultimately be the end of his career, we here at Wrestling’s Dirty Deeds would like to thank TJ for all of his accomplishments and wish him all the best for the next chapter of his life.
