TNA are moving to the Pop! TV channel at the beginning of 2016, following the first set of taping’s TNA will be touring the United Kingdown for 3 live shows which will all be double taping’s of Impact Wrestling just like last year. All week TNA UK have teased huge news and TNA have finally delivered on their promise.
During tonight’s UK airing of Impact Wrestling on Challenge TV, TNA announced that for each of the taping’s, the shows will be headlines by one of three TNA gimmick’s, a first for the UK and TNA. Last year, TNA debuted Ultimate X for London. This year, we will see Lockdown, Monsters Ball and the King of The Mountain.
- Monster’s Ball hardcore bout set for Manchester Arena on January 29
- Lockdown will take place at the SSE Arena Wembley on January 30
- King of the Mountain match booked for Birmingham on January 31
TNA are really pulling out the stops which their move to Pop! TV. Last January’s TNA tour delivered a series of fantastic show. The double taping in London was fantastic, with several high rated matches including Bobby Lashley vs Kurt Angle, Ethan Carter vs Rockstar Spud and an Ulimate X match, all receiving high ratings by Dave Meltzer.
Confirmed for the TNA Maximum Impact 8 tour include Kurt Angle, Lashley, Matt Hardy, EC3, Drew Galloway, Eric Young, Bobby Roode, Rockstar Spud, Grado, Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Mr Anderson, TNA X-Division Champion Tigre Uno, Robbie E, Mandrews, Mahabali Shera, TNA Knockouts Champion Gail Kim, Taryn Terrell, Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne.
Myself and Kevin will be attending the taping in Birmingham. With such a brilliant show last time I am hopefully this TNA can return back to form with their new move to POP! TV. Let’s be honest to see Kurt Angles retirement tour will be insane and an honour to witness live.
