WWE News: Money In The Bank PPV Shaping Up

This years Money In The Bank is shaping up to a historic event, for the first time the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is up for grabs in the Money In The Bank ladder match.

Two weeks ago on Raw Stephanie McMahon announced two possible main events for the Money In The Bank Pay Per View, either Daniel Bryan would face Kane in a stretcher match for the World Heavyweight title, or if Daniel Bryan wasn’t fit to compete then the WWE World Heavyweight title would be determined in a ladder match. On that Raw Alberto Del Rio, secured his space in the match by defeated Dolph Ziggler.

Last week on Raw, Stephanie and Triple H announced that Daniel’s recovery will mean he will miss the pay per view, so the Money In The Bank match will now be contested for the WWE World Heavyweight title. Triple H announced that former champion Randy Orton has been awarded a spot in the match. Cesaro defeated former MITB winner Rob Van Dam to earn his spot, whilst in the champion vs champion match, Sheamus beat Bad News Barrett to earn his spot. We found out on last nights Smackdown that Bray Wyatt secured his spot in the match by beating Dean Ambrose.

No doubt that more slots will be filled for the ladder match this coming Monday, I would actually be shocked not to see John Cena in this match. The final spot is also likely to go Kane, considering he is the “number one” contender.

Today WWE.com announced a second match for the Pay Per View, after weeks of battling the Wyatt Family will get their Tag Team title shot against Jimmy and Jay, The Usos. This will be a very interesting match up, two unique styles off offence will provide a very entertaining match up that’s for sure.
