WrestleMania 2

The Premier Sporting Event of the Year!

Date: April 7, 1986

Following the huge success of WrestleMania 1 in 1985, WWE decided to go one bigger with WrestleMania 2 and hold one event in three separate venues across the United States. The cities were New York, Rosemont and Los Angeles each hosting their own individual portion of the event with over 40,000 people watching the show live. Each portion of the event was approximately an hour in length, and had its own unique main event.  Mr. T versus Roddy Piper concluded the show in New York, a Battle Royal featuring various WWE and NFL Superstars concluded the event in Rosemont whilst Hulk Hogan versus King Kong Bundy in a Steel Cage main evented the show from Los Angeles.
