The Ultimate Challenge saw Intercontinental Champion, The Ultimate Warrior challenge Hulk Hogan for his WWE Championship. This was the first key time that Hulk  Hogan lost clean since Hulkamania started in 1984. Interestingly at this event a future WWE Hall Of Famer, Edge was in attendance at Wrestlemania 6.

  3. Demolition: Ax and Smash defeated The Colossal Connection: Andre the Giant and Haku (c) (accompanied by Bobby Heenan) to capture the WWE Tag Team Championship
  4. Earthquake (accompanied by Jimmy Hart) defeated Hercules
  5. Brutus Beefcake defeated Mr. Perfect (accompanied by The Genius)
  6. Roddy Piper fought Bad News Brown to a double count-out
  7. The Hart Foundation: Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart defeated The Bolsheviks: Nikolai Volkoff and Boris Zhukov
  8. The Barbarian (accompanied by Bobby Heenan) defeated Tito Santana
  9. Dusty Rhodes and Sapphire (accompanied by Miss Elizabeth) defeated Randy Savage and Sensational Sherri in a Mixed Tag Team match
  10. The Orient Express: Sato and Pat Tanaka (accompanied by Mr. Fuji) defeated The Rockers: Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty via count-out
  11. Jim Duggan defeated Dino Bravo (accompanied by Jimmy Hart and Earthquake)
  12. Ted DiBiase (c) (accompanied by Virgil) defeated Jake Roberts to retain the Million Dollar Championship
  13. The Big Boss Man defeated Akeem (accompanied by Slick)
  14. Rick Rude (accompanied by Bobby Heenan) defeated Jimmy Snuka
  15. Ultimate Warrior defeated Hulk Hogan (c) to capture the WWE Championship, and retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship
