  3. WWE Tag Team Championship: Skip and Zip (c) (w/ Sunny) defeated Aldo Montoya and Barry Horowitz to retain
  4. The Undertaker defeated Justin Bradshaw via Disqualification
  • Commentators: Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler
  • Ring Announcer: Howard Finkel

Segment Information

  • Vince McMahon conducted an in-ring segment with the new WWE Champion, Shawn Michaels.

  • Vince McMahon conducted an in-ring interview with The Ultimate Warrior about his match with Goldust at In Your House 7

Other Information

  • This episode of Monday Night RAW began at 20:57, to compete with WCW Monday Nitro which had being doing the same. With WCW starting earlier, they were attracting fans away from RAW.

  2. Steve Austin defeated Bart Gunn
  3. WWE Intercontinental Championship: Savio Vega defeated Goldust (c) (w/ Marlena) to capture
    • After the conclusion of the match, Gorilla Monsoon appeared as referees disputed the decision. Monsoon then vacated the championship, and declared a rematch for the next week.
  • Commentators: Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler
  • Ring Announcer: Howard Finkel

Segment Information

  • Footage of Bret Hart from Germany was shown, where he was discussing the Ironman match and his future wrestling. 
  • Vader was interviewed in the ring, where it was announced he would face Razor Ramon at In Your House 7.

  1. WWE Intercontinental Championship: Goldust (w/ Marlena) defeated Savio Vega to capture
    • Due to pre-match stipulations, Goldust won the vacent WWE Intercontinental Championship.
  2. Vader (w/ Jim Cornette) defeated Fatu
  3. Henry O. and Phinneas I. Godwinn (w/ Hillbilly Jim) defeated Yoshihiro Tajiri & Ken Patterson
  4. Mankind defeated Aldo Montoya
  • Commentators: Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler
  • Ring Announcer: Howard Finkel

Segment Information

  • Footage was shown from the recent WWE Germany Tour, where The British Bulldog got involved in Jake Roberts vs Owen Hart. He was nailed with a short clothesline from Jake, before the snake appeared.

  • Commentators: Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler
  • Ring Announcer: Howard Finkel

Segment Information

  • The opening segment looked at the conclusion of In Your House 7 where The British Bulldog claimed Shawn Michaels wanted to sleep with his wife Diana. Key points were:
    • In an in-ring interview segment with Vince McMahon, The British Bulldog along with his wife Diana and Jim Cornette accused Michaels of attempting to sleep with Diana.
    • Diana slapped Michaels when he told her not to flatter herself. This lead to Bulldog and Michaels brawling, after Michaels said he knew who wore the pants in their family.
  • After the opening match, Jim Ross interviewed Bart Gunn at ringside. JR was attacked by Mankind who locked in the Mandible Claw.
  • Savio Vega challenged Steve Austin to a Caribbean Strap Match, which was rejected by Austin and DiBiase. Savio then attacked Austin with the strap.
  • During the closing moments of the tag team match, Sunny was seen scouting the potential opposition for the Body Donnas. After the conclusion of the match, a rematch was confirmed for WWE Superstars.
