Latest on WrestleMania 36 Location

With the recent news that WrestleMania 35 is returning home to New York City. Yes, the 2019 spectacular will return to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey for the first time since Wrestlemania 28. But this brings about the question to where the WrestleMania 36 location would be. It may be twenty-four months away, but the question of WrestleMania 36 is already on peoples lips.

In a recent article with Sportster, it has being suggested that the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Coliseum could be in line to host WrestleMania 36. The manager of The Coliseum, Jon Furin spoke out on his plans to see this happen:

“I think it would be great to see WrestleMania 36 or 37 at the Coliseum. That’s definitely a call we’re going to make. I think I have to update the bid video, but the reasons remain the same. We’ve hosted every big event except for one, and it would be great to finally come full circle and check that box and host WrestleMania.”

Historically, the LA Coliseum was slated to be the home of WrestleMania VII back in 1991. Unfortunately, due to incredibly poor ticket sales at the time the WWE located to the nearby LA Sports Arena. But maybe it is time for WrestleMania to come back to the West Coast? Well, based on an article from the Daily Star this couldn’t be further from the truth.

According to the article, the WrestleMania 36 location is set to be Wembley Stadium in London, England. It went on further to say:

“Listening to the fans is our priority and we’re delighted to announce this historic news. Finally the UK will get WrestleMania and we couldn’t be more excited about it.”

Take that for what you will. It was posted on 1st April 2018. There is more chance of the Pontiac Silverdome hosting WrestleMania 36…
