One week removed from the Superstar Shakeup, what will the next steps be for the stars of WWE SmackDown Live? What can we expect as we begin the countdown to Backlash 2017? This weeks edition of SmackDown Live came from the KFC YUM! Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Here is the WWE SmackDown Live Results 18/04/17…

— Charlotte Flair opened the show, stating she was upset after not receiving a championship match in her first week. She proclaims to be The Queen of the Division, before Naomi comes out. She says they don’t have queens on SD Live, they have champions. Shane McMahon came out and stated Charlotte needs to earn her title match. She will get this match if she can defeat Naomi in a non-title match tonight. Charlotte tried to attack Naomi, but was chased out. 

1. Number One Contenders Six-Pack Challenge Match for the WWE Championship: Jinder Mahal defeated Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan, Luke Harper and Mojo Rawley

— Afterwards, Mahal cut a promo about how great he is and doesn’t care what people think of him. Randy Orton then came out and said his prize wouldn’t be the title but an RKO. He then talks about his House of Horrors match with Bray Wyatt. Whilst he doesn’t know what one is, he will burn it down all the same. Bray then appeared on the big screen and taunted Orton.

2. Charlotte Flair defeated Naomi

— Carmella, Natalya and Tamina Snuka were seen backstage watching the match, all upset at the opportunity given to Charlotte Flair. 

3. The Shining Stars defeated American Alpha.

4. Face of America United States Championship Open Challenge: Kevin Owens (c) defeated Gary Gandy

— Gary Gandy was a local talent who lost to Kevin Owens in a short match. 

5. AJ Styles defeated Baron Corbin via Countout

— Kevin Owens was sat on commentary throughout this match.
