Latest on Ronda Rousey to WWE

Back on March 29 2015, we were able to witness one of the all time great WrestleMania moments. In front of 76,000 inside Levi’s Stadium, she stood alongside The Rock and took down the powerful combination of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Whilst it wasn’t a match, she performed a hip toss on Triple H and locked Stephanie in an arm bar. The imagination of the WWE Universe went crazy. They hoped and prayed for a one-on-one match between Stephanie and Rhonda at some point down the line. But Ronda Rousey to WWE has yet to come to fruition.

Nearly two years on from that incredible moment, current manager of Brock Lesnar has spoken out on Ronda Rousey coming to the WWE in an interview with MMA Junkie. Here is what Mr Heyman had to say on the matter…

“I think the WWE audience would embrace Ronda Rousey with open arms. Just her name recognition alone is huge. It doesn’t matter, her past two experiences in the UFC. All that matters is if she got involved in a story that people could relate to and sink their teeth into and get excited about. I think Ronda Rousey doing anything in WWE is a natural fit. I’d love to see it and would be happy to discuss with her all the benefits that she could endure by being a Paul Heyman girl.”

If in a very hypothetical world, Ronda Rousey to WWE was ever able to become a possibility. Seeing her as a Paul Heyman girl would be absolutely incredible. We could then have that convincing ass kicking women, who will have an advocate to do the speaking for her. It would be brilliant, refreshing but new to see. Bring it on in all honesty!
