WWE RAW 20/03/17 5 Things

This past weeks edition of edition of WWE RAW is now officially in the history book. But what are the WWE RAW 20/03/17 Five Things which can be taken away from the show. With two weeks until WrestleMania 33, the WWE needs to be going full onto making the event the biggest they possibly can. In what is a hopeful new feature to WDD, here is this weeks edition of the WWE RAW 20/03/17 Five Things…

1. No Goldberg, No Brock Lesnar…

With less than two weeks until WrestleMania, you would have thought that the WWE would have included the competitors from the main event on the show. Unfortunately not. This has shown disregard for the championship match and competitors, and not giving the fans a chance to invest in it.

2. No More Mick Foley

Mick Foley has done well in some respects, and last longer than expected as the RAW GM. But this week on RAW saw him exit the door, as he was fired by Stephanie McMahon. With two weeks until WrestleMania, this now brings into question who (if anyone) will replace him. Needs to be unique.

3. Vacant Braun Strowman

Whilst he may have only fought to a no-contest with Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman is still in the position of no opponent for WrestleMania. Whilst the Battle Royal is an option, for someone they have built so strongly then an individual opponent would help achieve this better.

4. Samoa Joe and Sami Zayn

Another two men without an opponent at WrestleMania 33 is Samoa Joe and Sami Zayn. They have faced each other several times recently. But nothing is set in stone for WrestleMania. Given the booking of Zayn, he came as no surprise but Samoa Joe is surprising considering how new he is.

5. Dana Brooke Dismissed

Last week on RAW, you would have hoped for promising things for Dana Brooke following the breakdown of allegiance with Charlotte. Logical booking would have seen her inserted into the title match for WrestleMania. Annoyingly, this has being passed to Dana now out of the light again.
