WWE Monday Night Raw Results 12/09/16 – Reigns vs Owens

Monday Night Raw takes place from Baltimore as Raw moves closer to Clash of Champions. Tonight, Roman Reigns challenges the WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens. If Reigns is victorious then he moves into a triple threat match.

Mick Foley kicks off Raw; introducing Charlotte and Dana Brooke to the ring. He mentions Charlottes loss to Bayley last week on Raw. Sasha Banks comes down, talks about her upcoming match at Clash with Charlotte. Bayley comes to the ring and reminds everyone of the victory. Foley books a one on one match between Sasha Banks and Bayley. The winner faces Charlotte at CoC.

Charlotte is livid at Dana for costi g her the match last week. Dana slaps Flair in the face. Foley makes the match a triple threat match.

Bayley vs Sasha Banks vs Dana Brooke

Good tempo match, in the end Sasha Banks has Dana locked into the Bank Statement. Brooke almost taps out as Bayley comes for the save. Bayley hits Belly to Bayley, Sasha breaks the fall. Sasha manages to roll Bayley up for the win.

Backstage, The Shinning Stars are trying to convince R-Truth to sign up to their Condo in Puerto Rico. Enzo and Cass interupt, with Enzo challenges singles match tonight.

Kevin Owens comments on facing Roman Reigns. Saying that Reigns doesnt belong in the same ring as Owens. Following Owens rant; Jericho approaches Todd who is annoyed at Foley for pulling his guest star Owens from the Highlight Reel. Instead Sami Zayn is his guest.

Bo Dallas vs Brandon Scott

More jobber action for Bo Dallas. Must admit I love the new agressive Bo Dallas. O dear “Let’s go jobber” chants are high in Baltimore.

Chris Jericho‘s Highlight Wheel with Sami Zayn
Chris Jericho is still livid that his original guest Kevin Owens can’t be on his show. Therefore introduces Sami Zayn; several bits of words later Jericho hits the Codebreaker on Zayn.

A match between Jericho and Zayn is announced at Clash of Champions.

Best of seven series

Sheamus 3 vs Cesaro 1

Cesaro managed to save the series from a white wash in London this past Wednesday. Its 3 to 1, Cesaro needs a win again to keep this series alive. Cesaro picks up the win following putting his feet on the ropes for leverge.

The man Seth Rollins is backstage with Mick Foley who complains that Roman Reigns is not as good as Rollins.

Nia Jax vs Alicia Fox

Alicia Fox gets planeted through the security railing causing a no contest.

No Contest

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson defeated Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston.

Anderson pinned Woods following the Magic Killer. The two teams will meet again for the tag team titles at Clash of Champions.

Jinder Mahal defeated Jack Swagger.

Now known as The Man Who Comes In Peace.” Jinder got the pin after a cobra clutch neckbreaker of sorts.

Epico managed to pick up the pin when Primo tripped Enzo mid-suplex.

Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens

If Roman Reigns beats Kevin Owens, he will make it a triple threat match at Clash of Champions. Seth Rollins appeared mid match and attacked Kevin Owens causing a Reigns win via DQ. Mick Foley restarted the match.

Rusev then came to the ring distracting Reigns only to get hit with a superman punch. Allowing Owens to hit the popup powerbomb for the win.

Post match Roman Reigns was attacked by Rusev.
