Current No Mercy 2016 Matches

Following the latest edition of SmackDown Live from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – the aftermath of Backlash continues to ring through the WWE Universe. John Cena has made his return, Dean Ambrose wants revenge – AJ Styles now has two enemies which SmackDown Live Commissioner wants to exploit. And with the new WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion declared, this past weeks edition of SmackDown Live saw the new number one contender for the championship declared – but who is it? With two matches now confirmed for the big show, we can surely expect more to be confirmed in the coming weeks. Here is current No Mercy 2016 matches…

WWE World Championship: Triple Threat Match

AJ Styles (c) vs. John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose

WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship

Becky Lynch (c) vs. Alexa Bliss

With these two matches confirmed, there is surely more matches to be added to the show in the coming weeks. But what can these matches possibly be? Here is the potential matches and theories for No Mercy 2016 from the brand new Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California…

  • WWE Intercontinental Championship: The Miz (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler – expect this match to have some form of stipulation, along the lines of Maryse being banned from ringside.
  • Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt – this match was supposed to take place at Backlash, but due to lingering injuries from Orton’s fight at SummerSlam it didn’t. This is far from settled, and No Mercy is the likely place for it to happen.
  • WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship: there will ultimately, be a championship defense at No Mercy from Heath and Rhyno. But who it is remains to be seen. The Uso’s are likely considering the momentum they are building at the moment.

What else do you think will take place at No Mercy 2016…we’d love to know what you think!
