WWE SmackDown Preview 6th September 2016

With less than one week to go until the return of Backlash, this is the go-home show for the SmackDown Live Roster ahead of their debut PPV. AJ Styles has certainly being gaining momentum since he defeated John Cena at SummerSlam. Will he be able to continue building this momentum ahead of his championship match against Dean Ambrose? And the battle lines are drawn between The Miz and Dolph Ziggler over the WWE Intercontinental Championship, but will the SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan prove to be a factor in the mindset for The Miz? This weeks edition of SmackDown Live comes from the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. Here is this weeks WWE SmackDown Preview 6th September 2016…

The Phenomenal Challenger…

Since he went alone on the SmackDown Live roster, AJ Styles has continued building the momentum he started when he debuted at the Royal Rumble. With less than one week until he clashes with Dean Ambrose, will he continue to build the momentum?

The Blue Revolution…

At Backlash, a new champion will be crowned for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship in a Six-Pack Challenge. With Nikki Bella, Naomi, Natalya, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch and Carmella all aiming to be the inaugural champion – which one will set the ball in motion?

The Semi-finals…

This week on SmackDown, we shall see the Semi-finals for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship. American Alpha will clash with The Usos. The Hype Bros will clash with Rhyno and Heath Slater. Which team will succeed in making it to the finals at Backlash?

The Spotlight…

The Miz and Dolph Ziggler are on course for a heated confrontation at Backlash over the WWE Intercontinental Championship. But with the comments of SmackDown GM Daniel Bryan still in his head, will The Miz be able to maintain his cool and refocus on Dolph?

The Mind Games…

His collision with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam is now the last thing on his mind. Randy Orton now has another insane person to deal with in the form of Bray Wyatt. But will Bray continue the mind games tactics in order to gain the upper hand over Orton?

What else do you think will happen on this weeks edition of SmackDown Live? We’d love to know what you think!
