Bill Goldberg at SummerSlam 2016?

Bill Goldberg is probably one of the most famous superstars of WCW throughout the Monday Night Wars. He infamously created his legendary undefeated streak, and overcame Hollywood Hogan in the Georgia Dome. But after the closure of WCW in 2001, very little was seen or heard from him. He made his much anticipated WWE Debut the night after WrestleMania XIX, tearing The Rock in half with a spear. He went onto have a year-long reign in the WWE which lasted until WrestleMania XX. In a classic battle with Brock Lesnar, they were both infamously booed out of the building. Since that day in 2004, very little has being seen or heard from him.

However, Goldberg recently resurfaced in a promotional video where it was revealed he would be a part of WWE 2K17. This has ultimately lead to much speculation that an imminent appearance in the WWE could be around the corner. However, the speculation has now being heightened even more following on from a cryptic tweet sent out by Brock Lesnar…

This is certainly creating a buzz on the Internet about a potential appearance this Sunday at SummerSlam for Goldberg. This is certainly creating a buzz around the Internet. The feud in 2004 between Brock and Goldberg was highly anticipated, but lacked the credibility due to their premature departures from the company at the time. Now, over 12 years later, is now the time to invest in the feud properly? Whilst throughout the years, Goldberg has being very critical of the WWE, there must be a curiosity within him to return for the right opportunity. Timing is everything within the WWE, and this could quite possibly be that time. The countdown to The Biggest Party of the Summer continues, and the buzz is certainly there for it now.

What do you think about the possibility of Goldberg appearing at SummerSlam? We’d love to know what you think!
