WWE SmackDown Preview 16th August 2016

The go-home show for the Blue Brand before SummerSlam 2016. With a very RAW heavy card, will we see anymore matches confirmed for the Blue Brand? And following the events of last weeks SmackDown, what is next for the rivalry between Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose in their battle over the WWE World Heavyweight Championship? Also, following her wardrobe malfunction last week, will we finally see Eva Marie make her in-ring debut on SmackDown Live? This weeks edition of SmackDown Live comes from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. Here is this weeks WWE SmackDown Preview 16th August 2016…

Championship Pursuit…

They have made it clear that nothing is beyond their boundaries, and both men are out for themselves in their pursuit for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. But who will gain the momentum going in – The Showoff or The Lunatic?

Rookie Pursuit…

The new kid on the block on SmackDown Live is Apollo Crews, and this Sunday at SummerSlam he has a fantastic opportunity – the WWE Intercontinental Championship. But what does The Miz and Maryse have to say or do about it all?

Match Pursuit…

Ever since she was drafted to SmackDown Live in the Brand Split, Eva Marie has yet to compete in a match. Seemingly excuse after excuse, last week it was a wardrobe malfunction. Will this be the week she finally makes her in-ring SmackDown Live debut?

Revenge Pursuit…

Ever since he returned to the WWE back in May, a true thorn in the side of John Cena has being AJ Styles. This Sunday at SummerSlam, they are set to clash in their Money in the Bank rematch. Will Cena be able to set the momentum going for his return match?#

Beast Pursuit…

The Viper Randy Orton is on a mission to win round 1 of the war with RAW, and his opposition at SummerSlam is The Beast Brock Lesnar. What tricks does Randy have up his sleeve ahead of the big match, and is he prepared for suplex city?

What else do you think will happen this week on SmackDown Live? We’d love to know what you think!
