WWE Monday Night RAW Results 25th July 2016

It is the dawning of a new era in the WWE, and tonight marks the beginning of a new era within the WWE. Following his surprise return last week, Mick Foley assumes the role of General Manager. But he has one eagle eye over him…RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon. Will their working relationship start off well in a battle to beat the blue? Now without a championship to fight over, what is next for the former members of the Hounds of Justice Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. This weeks edition of Monday Night RAW comes from the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Here is this weeks RAW Results 25th July 2016…

– The show opened with Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley in the ring, and the RAW roster on the entrance way. After belittling Roman Reigns for the loss at Battleground, they went onto announce the creation of the WWE Universal Championship. Tonight will see two Fatal-4-Way matches, with the winners facing each other in the Main Event. The winner will then go onto face Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam.

1. Finn Balor defeated Kevin Owens, Rusev and Cesaro. Balor pinned Rusev after a Coup de Grace.

2. Nia Jax defeated Britt Baker (Local Wrestler). Jax squashed Baker and won with a leg drop.

3. Roman Reigns defeated Sami Zayn, Sheamus and Chris Jericho. Reigns won after he pinned Jericho after a spear.

– The New Day held a celebration and tried to induct a fan named “Sonny Boy” into the New Day. The Club interrupted and attacked New Day, then blew their nose on New Day’s coats and threw them at Sonny Boy.

4. Neville defeated Curtis Axel. Axel is now known as “Mr. Irrelevant” – what a way to get someone over!!! Neville won following a Red Arrow.

5. WWE Women’s Championship Match: Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte (c). Banks pulled an Eddie Guerrero fake-out trick during the match, which got Dana Brooke ejected from ringside. Charlotte then tapped out to the Banks Statement to become the new WWE Women’s Champion.

6. Braun Strowman defeated Local Wrestler. Strowman won a quick squash with a reverse chokeslam.

7. Enzo Amore and Big Cass defeated The Shining Stars. The Shining Stars got distracted when Golden Truth wandered into the ring playing “Pokemon Go” – oh lord, which allowed Cass to hit a big boot for the win.

8. Finn Balor defeated Roman Reigns. Balor pinned Reigns clean with the Coup de Grace, meaning it will be Finn Balor versus Seth Rollins at SummerSlam for the WWE Universal Championship.

How do you think things got off for the Red Brand, did they do good or did they miss the trick on something? What do you think about the creation of the WWE Universal Championship? We’d love to know what you think!
