WWE Monday Night RAW Results 18th July 2016

Last week on RAW, Mr McMahon returned to make an announcement about the Brand Split. With Stephanie as commissioner of RAW and Shane as commissioner of SmackDown Live, who will be their General Managers? 6 days ahead of their Triple Threat match with the returning Roman Reigns, former brothers now mortal enemies Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will clash for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship…who will be victorious? The last time the current roster is united (so to speak) as a single roster, this weeks edition of RAW comes from the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. Here is this weeks WWE Monday Night RAW Results 18th July 2016…

– The show opened with Stephanie McMahon announcing that RAW would feature an exclusive Cruiserweight Division. She then announced Mick Foley as RAW General Manager. Shane McMahon then announced Daniel Bryan as SmackDown GM.

1. Sami Zayn and Cesaro defeated Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens.

2. Darren Young defeated Alberto Del Rio. The Miz and Maryse were on color commentary who tried to distract Young but it backfired.

3. The Club and The Wyatt Family defeated John Cena, Enzo Amore, Big Cass and The New Day. Enzo accidentally clotheslined Cena, allowing AJ Styles to hit Enzo with the Styles Clash for the win.

4. Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch defeated Charlotte and Dana Brooke. Banks and Lynch won by disqualification when Natalya attacked Lynch. Afterwards, Charlotte and Brooke continued the attack on Banks.

5. Rusev and Sheamus defeated Dolph Ziggler and Zack Ryder. Rusev forced Ziggler to tap out to the Accolade.

6. WWE Championship Match: Seth Rollins defeated Dean Ambrose (c). Following a referee bump, both mens shoulders were counted down. Stephanie raised Rollins’ hand and Shane raised Dean’s hand, but the referee was noncommittal.

– After the match and the confusion, Stephanie got on the microphone and declared Rollins the winner, handing him the belt. Rollins celebrated while the others argued and the commentators were not convinced.

What do you think of this weeks edition of RAW; what would you like to happen or can see happening…who do you think the GMs will be – we’d love to know what you think!
