Breaking News: Damien Sandow Released By WWE

Noooooo is the only reaction to this, Damien Sandow has been released from his WWE contract. His becomes the eighth man announced by WWE on May 6th to be released by the WWE.

Amazingly, despite only really being remembered as Damien Sandow who debuted on Smackdown in 2012 as the Intellectual Saviour. Damien Sandow has been involved with WWE in some capacity since 2001. Following several try out matches, Damien was signed to a developmental contract.

On August 4th 2006, Idol Stevens debuted on WWE Smackdown alongside KC James as one of Michelle McCools teachers pets. After a small tag team rivalry with Paul London and Brian Kendrick, Idol Stevens was sent back to OVW. Idol won the OVW Heavyweight Championship from Paul Burchil shortly after. However was released from his developmental contract in August 2008.

Idol returned to WWE this time in FCW in 2010. Now known as Damien Sandow he debuted on Smackdown in April 2012. During his time in WWE, he won the WWE Tag Team Championship with the Miz and become Money In The Bank. He became the second man to lose his championship match when he challenged John Cena.
