
WWE Extreme Rules 2016 LIVE Report
Tonight marks the eighth annual Extreme Rules event from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey which will be headlined by Roman Reigns clashing with AJ Styles over the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Following their epic encounter at Payback 2016, tonight will see them go Extreme in their bid for supremacy. The New Era in the WWE has well and truly landed, and tonight they show their extreme side. Throughout the night here at WDD shall be bringing you the live report for the event, all the action as and when it happens.

Rusev (w/ Lana) defeated Kalisto (c) to capture the WWE United States Championship

The New Day: Big E and Xavier Woods: (c) (w/ Kofi Kingston) defeated The VaudeVillains: Aiden English and Simon Gotch to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship
WWE Intercontinental Championship: Fatal-4-Way
The Mix (c) (w/ Maryse) defeated Cesaro, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Dean Ambrose defeated Chris Jericho
WWE Women’s Championship: Submission Match
Charlotte (c) defeated Natalya to retain the WWE Women’s Championship
Give the stipulations of the match Ric Flair was banned from ringside. Natalya applied the Sharpshooter when Ric Flairs music played. A figure wearing Flairs robe appeared, Natalya thinking she had won was distracted. Charlotte locked in the figure of 8 for the victory. Turned out that Dana Brooke is now was Charlotte.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Extreme Rules Match
Roman Reigns (c) defeated AJ Styles to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Plenty of interence by The Usos and The Club. Reigns managed to kick out of two Styles clashes. As AJ went for the pheneonmal elbow Reigns hit a spear for the win.
Post match Seth Rollins hit the Pedigree on Reigns to end the show.
