European Tour to Feature Shane McMahon and Triple H
It has being revealed by WrestleZone.com that both Shane McMahon and Triple H will be taking part in the forthcoming WWE European Tour, despite not originally being advertised to take part. It has being confirmed that both men will be appearing in front of numerous live crowds on the tour, with Triple H confirmed for the following events;
- April 20th: Newcastle, England
- April 21st: Brussels
- Aril 22nd: Paris, France
- April 23rd: Malaga, Spain
Whilst the live dates that Shane will be in attendance to have not thus far being confirmed, he has being confirmed to appear on this weeks forthcoming taping of SmackDown from the O2 Arena in London, England. This would mark the first SmackDown appearance of Shane in well over 7 years, but also interestingly The Undertaker is still scheduled for this taping as well despite originally being pulled from the tour dates and rumours of an impending retirement.
This is obviously an interesting development, because neither Triple H or The Undertaker have appeared since their matches at WrestleMania 32 whilst Shane has held control of RAW for the past two weeks. This could lead to further speculation about what could occur at either the RAW and SmackDown tapings at the O2 this week. It would certainly be an interesting sight to see brother-in-laws going face-to-face in the ring, which hasn’t happened since Shane’s return and could give a whole new dynamic to this angle. Whilst in all honesty Shane being in charge of RAW is “best for business”, it needs to be done with some credibility that doesn’t diminish the impact of the angle.
The trio combination of Triple H, Shane and The Undertaker could really be interesting especially with The Authority technically still in charge, could a potential Shane-Taker rematch be on the cards? They aren’t currently advertised for RAW, but don’t be surprised if they do appear…stranger things have happened in the WWE!
