The Undertaker Retiring?
It has being widely speculated that following his victory over Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 32 inside Hell in a Cell that The Undertaker is now retiring from the squared circle that has being his home for 25 years. Apparently, the removing of his gloves at the end of the match was him signifying that he was in actual fact done as an active competitor.
Whether or not this is in actual fact true remains to be seen at this present moment in time, as originally reported by WhatCulture. Only time will tell, but rumours of an impending retirement from Taker have been widely speculated for a number of years.
Mark Calaway made his WWE debut at the 1990 Survivor Series, and along with his longstanding manager Paul Bearer quickly rose to the top of the WWE amassing a record of 23-1 victories at WrestleMania, he has only ever lost to Brock Lesnar on the biggest stage.
An evolving character throughout the years, Survivor Series 2015 saw him celebrate 25 years as an active competitor but 2015 also saw him bring an end to his long standing feud with Brock Lesnar.
Whilst many have hoped for a long desired match with Sting, this is almost certainly looking off the cards now considering the actual retirement of Sting.
At this time, this is a developing situation and is only a rumour. Stay tuned to WDD for further info as and whenit becomes available.
