WWE News: Latest on AJ Styles Injury

AJ Styles Royal Rumble

AJ Styles Injury Update

It has recently being reported by WrestlingInc.com that AJ Styles may have possibly suffered some form of head injury this past week at the SmackDown tapings, in a match against Alberto Del Rio. AJ reportedly landed badly on his head in the match, in a move which was apparently botched by Del Rio as reported by those in attendance. However, when recently asked about this by a fan whether or not he would be on the forthcoming tour of Europe and the Middle East, AJ replied with the following;

This is obviously really good news for not only the WWE, but also AJ who is heading into the forthcoming Payback event with his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship opportunity against Roman Reigns. An injury would have only blighted his progression amongst the WWE ranks and set him back considerably. Look at what the injuries of Seth Rollins and Cesaro did for them, it set them back massively with only Cesaro to thus far make a comeback.

AJ has nonetheless being very impressive in his short time in the WWE since he debuted at the Royal Rumble following a series of speculation, lasting an impressive amount of time before encountering Chris Jericho in a number of matches throughout the early part of 2016, culminating in an impressive match at WrestleMania 32. Thankfully, the injury appears to be just a very good sell by AJ who will at this present moment be present on the forthcoming WWE Tour. Whether or not AJ is successful in a few weeks time against Roman Reigns at Payback remains to be seen at the moment but it certainly promises to be an interesting match given how these superstars have never met one-on-one before.

Rock On AJ…
