WWE News: John Cena Return Date Confirmed

John Cena Return Date Confirmed

Following his surprise appearance to assist The Rock at WrestleMania 32, there has being much speculation about whether or not he will return sooner than expected from his shoulder injury. However, John recently took to his Twitter account to officially announce his return to the WWE outlining which was also confirmed on WWE.com;

This is obviously very good news for the WWE because they need someone to massively bolster then flagging roster at this time. The former 15-time World Champion is heavily rumored to be involved in a feud with Roman Reigns going into this years SummerSlam, which could definitely be an interesting feud going forward considering how the WWE Universe perceive both Cena and Reigns. But you have to give Cena his credit, he has the star power and credibility to draw fans in. He has being the face of the WWE for a number of years, and still continues to thrive in that position.

But upon his return, surely he will have unfinished business with Alberto Del Rio dating back to Hell in a Cell in October which will need resolving before he moves onto his next feud. Nonetheless, he is ultimately destined to be a 16-time World Champion but as WDD have said before this should be held off for a period of time to allow the payout to be so much more from it. Ideally, WrestleMania 33 next year would be the ideal setting with Cena portraying the role of a broken down veteran who can’t quite climb back to the top of the mountain.

Nevertheless, Cena’s return on the Memorial Day edition of RAW is exceptionally good news for the WWE Universe. Now, ultimately begins the countdown the May 30th 2016 when the Leader of the C-Nation makes his long awaited return to the WWE!
