WWE News: WrestleMania 33 Location Revealed?

WrestleMania 33 Location Revealed?

The Greatest Spectacle in Sports Entertainment is the most eagerly anticipated event of the year for the WWE Superstars and Universe alike, it is the show where the heart and soul goes into their performance in the hope of creating one of those Iconic Moments. But it is also eagerly anticipated by potential host cities, with many cities now placing “bids” on the event in the hope of hosting it. With WrestleMania 32 soon to invade the AT&T Stadium in less than 5 weeks, attention is now beginning to turn to WrestleMania 33…

It has now being widely speculated by 411Mania.com that WrestleMania 33 will return to the Orlando Citrus Bowl in Orlando, California. The Citrus Bowl was the host of WrestleMania XXIV, which infamously saw the retirement of Ric Flair from the WWE ring but also a pyro malfunction which left numerous fans injured at the culmination of the event. Since the WWE last invaded the Bowl in 2008, it went under an extensive renovation and near enough complete rebuild in 2014 to bring it up to modern standards.

When WrestleMania XXIV invaded the bowl, it set an new attendance record for the building with 74,635 in attendance with a sterling main event that saw The Undertaker capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Edge. A press conference is expected in the coming week to officially confirm The Citrus Bowl as the WrestleMania 33 location.

Should the WrestleMania 33 location be revealed as The Citrus Bowl, what matches would you like to see on the card. If it isn’t The Citrus Bowl, where else could WrestleMania 33 go. One heavily mooted option early on was the soon to be completed US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota…a city which has never held WrestleMania. Considering their speculated reluctance to go with The Citrus Bowl in 2008, this could be interesting if they do return next year…
