WWE News: New Match For Roadblock, Bray Wished For Mania Match With Brock

This Sunday will see another WWE Network exclusive event being aired live from Toronto, Canada. The main event of the evening will see Triple H make his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship defence, against Dean Ambrose. Dash and Dawson will defend their NXT Tag Team titles against Enzo and Big Cas. Brock Lesnar and Bray Wyatt will have their showdown which was meant to be for WrestleMania. WWE have announced  another title defence for Sundays show.

Following their successful Tag Team title defence on Raw, The New Day will defend their titles against the League Of Nations. Sheamus and Wade Barrett will team up to challenge for tag team gold. Given how good friends Wade and Sheamus are, I am surprised they haven’t been teaming together more often. I can’t see a title change from this match, however it does give Sheamus a plausible reason not to go for the WWE Title.

One key match, which had plenty of seeds planted for a WrestleMania match is Brock Lesnar vs Bray Wyatt. For whatever reason, WWE opted to go for Dean Ambrose vs Lesnar instead. Bray spoke with The Philly Voice to promote an upcoming Raw taping in the area. He spoke about his match with Lesnar, saying he is up for the challenge. When asked about whether he would have prefered a WrestleMania match with The Beast, Wyatt had this to say.

Of course I’d rather do it at WrestleMania. Then again, you don’t know what I’m gonna do at WrestleMania. It’s still an open-ended game for me. Like I said, to beat Brock Lesnar right before WrestleMania, you should be owed some kind of spot, some kind of high place – you know, I view myself as a high place player – I’m a serious player in this game and I intend to keep that.
