WWE Breaking News: Seth Rollins Out Of Action For 6-9 Months

I saw earlier today, that Seth Rollins suffered an injury at a house show in Dublin Ireland last night. I read the report and didn’t expect too much from the news. Every European tour the internet community speculate any nasty bump and bruise, with very little truth to the news. However the worst of the worst could have happened to current WWE Champion Seth Rollins.

WWE.com are reporting that WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, in fact tore his right ACL, MCL and medial meniscus during the WWE Live Event in Dublin, Ireland. As a result of the injury, Seth is expected to miss six to nine months of action. Thus is unable to defend his championship against Roman Reigns, at the upcoming WWE Survivor Series event.

The news was first reported on Twitter by Johnathon Coachman a few moments ago, who later revealed that a brand new WWE Champion will be crowned at the 29th annual Survivor Series event.

As of writing, there are no details regarding the tournament, however hopefully will be reminiscent to the Deadly Games tournament in 1998, that a certain Rocky Mavia captured WWE gold.

Seth Rollins run as WWE World Heavyweight Champion as been incredible; since winning the title at Wrestlemania 31 Seth has grown so much as the top heel in WWE. The reactions for Rollins as of late has been incredible, he is hated so much by so many people.

Whilst this is terrible news for Seth Rollins, just like the situation Daniel Bryan, this is a chance for another star to move up the pecking order and grab the brass ring. As Jim Ross often says, one man’s loss is another man’s gain. It is really tough at this time to think who an realistically win the tournament.

Who do you think can capture the championship at Survivor Series? Let us know your thoughts.
