WWE Results: Vengeance 2002

Date: July 21 2002 | City: Detroit, Michigan | Venue: Joe Louis Arena | Attendance: 12,000

The Rock would win his final WWE Championship as a full time WWE superstar (before his 2013 victory over CM Punk at Royal Rumble 2013), ending the two month run for Undertaker as champion. The Rock would lose the title to Brock Lesnar at Summerslam 2002. This event would also see the final time that the European championship would be defended on a WWE PPV. The title was unified into the Intercontinental Championship a few weeks later.
